Japanese Gardens - Fort Worth, Texas

This was the first time my son had ever been through the Japanese Gardens. He was amazed at it's beauty and mentioned several times how peaceful it was. I'd have to agree with him. I could sit in these gardens all day long. It's beauty, natures color scheme, the animals....are all so relaxing and calming. I had brought my daughter here on several occasions and each time she acted as if it was the first time. During this visit, however, she almost fed a friendly squirrel and my son discovered a very tiny brand new baby turtle!

The Rose Gardens at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. This grand opening into the rose gardens excited my kids and as they looked over the balcony to the colorful roses below, it took their breath away. While we were there we discovered a fairly large snake, many colorful lizards and plenty of turtles!
